Gabriella Evelina Quevedo (January 12, 1997, Kinna, Sweden) is a Swedish guitarist. She grew up in Kinna and got interested in guitar because her father played guitar. Her father is from Argentina and her mother is Argentinian-Swedish.[1]

She began playing guitar at age twelve, discovered fingerstyle guitar, and it led to her recording a number of covers of other guitarists' performances and her own guitar arrangements on YouTube.[2][3][4] In March 2017 this channel had over 400,000 subscribers and 75 million views. Her main influences are Tommy Emmanuel, Sungha Jung, Kotaro Oshio and Andy McKee, whose music she has made recordings of, and with whom she has appeared in concerts in Sweden and internationally.[5]

Her recording of Hotel California by the Eagles, arranged by Tomi Paldanius, had 15 million views on YouTube in March 2017. In 2012 she won first prize in the category of "young talent" on the Uppsala International Guitar Festival[6] and 2014 Ryan Seacrest 's vote on the best cover of the song "Young Girls" by Bruno Mars.[7][8] In 2016 she was awarded the Hagström grant of the Swedish Royal Academy of Music (Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien).[9]

She first learned to play on her father's Yamaha guitar, but her parents later bought her her own guitar, a "shiny black Yamaha with a cutaway", which is seen in her earlier videos on YouTube, and gets signed by Tommy Emmanuel.[10] She later starts playing Taylor Guitars, first a Taylor Custom GC,[11] possibly a GC8,[12] then a Taylor 912ce [13][14] and is an artist supported by Taylor.[13]
